Speech and Language Therapy - Specialist Mainstream Team
Band 6 – 18.75 hours - Permanent
The post holder will provide a specialist service to children attending the Quarry Bank Speech and Language Centre for one day a week. The Centre provides intensive therapy and specialist teaching for children with severe expressive language difficulties. The children are KS1, attend the unit part time and are selected by a joint panel from Education and Health. A Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist works in the base on a different day of the week and is available for support and collaborative working.
As a member of the Mainstream Team the post holder will provide a specialist service to children in pre-school settings & mainstream primary schools for children on the Centre Outreach and Therapy Team caseloads. The Outreach/Therapy Team caseloads are coordinated by a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, providing support and guidance

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
