Inpatient Psychologist Full Time (37.5Hrs Per Week)
Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is a specialist provider of Mental Health services across the Dudley and Walsall areas of the Black Country. This is an exciting time to join this service area. Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (DWMH) and Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (BCPFT) are due to become one organisation in April 2020 and a bid for additional psychology resource within acute for Dudley and Walsall is in development.
Recently assessed as “Good” by the Care Quality Commission, the Trust has also recently received sustained positive feedback from its staff in relation to its staff survey results.
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to join us in a Full Time capacity as an Inpatient Clinical Psychologist, based at our Dorothy Pattison Hospital site in Walsall.
The post offers an excellent opportunity to work as part of the Trust’s Inpatient and Home Treatment service line, which provides a comprehensive range of services across Dudley and Walsall.
We as a service are passionate about patient centered care and you would be working with an established multidisciplinary team of colleagues to provide care for Acute Inpatient service users with complex mental health needs. This would include direct and indirect therapeutic interventions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to clinical psychology university programmes within the region and teaching within the Trust. There will be opportunities for service development and review, along with any audit and research opportunities that may appropriate as identified.
You will have a robust supervision process in place along with professional line management and you will be actively encouraged to continue your professional development and strive towards excellence in patient care.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
