Band 6 CAMHS Crisis Intervention & Home Treatment Team- Mental Health Practitioners

We are looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking, and passionate, motivated nurses or allied health professionals to join our CAMHS Crisis Intervention Home Treatment Team. As a band 6 Mental Health Practitioner you will deliver quality, effective, evidence based care in a responsive manner to Children, Young people and families who are in mental health crisis.

The Black Country Healthcare Foundation Trust Crisis Intervention & Home Treatment Team covers both Sandwell and Wolverhampton. We are based in both West Bromwich and Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will have a choice of base in either Wolverhampton or Sandwell. However the person will be expected to work in any of the bases to cover the locality. The successful candidate will be expected to travel around the locality during their shift to meet with young people and their families and to undertake assessments in the local acute hospitals.

You will be provided with regular supervision, appraisal and support. The service will operate 24/7 and a variety of working patterns will be available – we welcome flexible working requests. This post involves 08:00-20:00 7 days working patterns and on call 20:00-08:00.
